The Grievance Redressal committee has been formed in the college as per the UGC guidelines to redress the Grievances of the staff and the students. The committee was constituted in 2014. The members of grievance Redressal committee are nominated for two years as per UGC guideline. The members of grievance Redressal committee 2022-2024 are as follows:

Functions of the Grievance Redressal Committee:

  • To accept written and online grievances from students and staff related to the system.
  • The Grievance Redressal Committee is also empowered to look into matters of harassment.
  • To create and implement a mechanism to handle the reported grievances.
  • To forward the findings to the Management if necessary for further action.
  • To listen, record and scrutinize the grievances submitted to them by the Staff and Students and take necessary steps immediately.
  • To attend to the grievances based on the authenticity and gravity of the criticisms made. To represent the grievances to the concerned section which may include maintenance, transport, academic, amenities etc.
  • To convene periodical meetings to discuss whether the grievances have been settled.
  • To make a follow-up of these matters at regular intervals till their final disposal.
  • To maintain strict confidentiality, if necessary.

Mechanism of the Grievance Redressal:

  • Grievance Redressal committee (GRC) shall consider grievances of specific nature of students and staff.
  • GRC will try to redress the grievance of the students in its best possible way to keeping in view that the interest of the student not suffer in any way.
  • The member of GRC look after the problem of the students and may call on such students who have put up-their grievance and they would give patience hearing.
  • The GRC may mediate between complainant and defendant against who the complaint has been made, it required.
  • GRC shall consider redressing of grievances within a reasonable time.
  • The cell will give report to the authority about the cases attended to and seek guidance from the higher authorities if required.

  • Students can complain through the offline form and grievance complaint box in the college.
